“Bruschetta” is a traditional Italian country dish, currently widespread and served mainly as an appetizer. The main ingredient is sliced homemade bread toasted in the oven or grilled on a hot plate until it is crunchy.
It is then rubbed with a clove of garlic and garnished with ingredients that vary from region to region: oil and salt in Piemonte (soma d’aj), meat and sausage in Tuscany , sardines and wild fennel in Sicily. The most typical recipe is a simple tomato condiment.
Montanini dips are sauces with a marked fragrance and intense flavour which can be used warm or cold. As per tradition, just a touch of sauce is enough to ennoble raw or simply boiled dishes.
Sugestion for use: Toast the bread. Rub it with fresh garlic at will. Spread a layer of Bruschetta sauce and complete with a bit of extra virgin olive oil.
Tomato pulp (82%), onion, extra virgin olive oil, salt, chilli , spices.
Refrigerate after opening.
