This Jamon Iberico, made from 50% of Iberian pig, is a succulent and aromatic ham which melts in the mouth thanks to a unique fat-to-muscle ratio.
Iberian Jamón is a dry cured ham (similar to Italian prosciutto) produced in Spain. It is one of the most globally recognised food items of the Spanish Cuisine. It is also regularly a component of tapas.
Jamon is cured for up to 18 months, giving it a dryer texture, deeper colour and stronger flavour than prosciutto.
Only four small areas in Spain are allowed to produce authentic Iberian products. The production is strictly regulated to maintain the highest possible standards in quality which results in the finest dry cured Spanish ham.
